When we talk about polysemous words, we have in mind textual equivalence, because a polysemous word has more than one meaning, and often a word may be used in figurative way and has different meaning.

Talking about polysemous words we have in mind textual equivalence,because a polysemous word has more than one meaning,depending on the context in which it is used, and often it may be used in a figurative way and has a different meaning.

Polysemous words, are words that have more than one meaning,which means that has its own meaning and figurative(related this with the context)
I.e.Hand-its first meaning is part of your body.
