Cifti Karriqi ishte divorcuar rreth 10 vjet me pare. Gruaja punonte si pastruese dhe shtepia qe dy bashkeshortet kishin, ishte nje objekt i vjeter i pershtatur si banese. Pas ndarjes gjykata kishta vendosur qe shtepia ti mbetej nenes se dy femijeve. Ky vendim nuk eshte pritur mire nga ish-bashkeshorti, i cili nderkohe ishte rimartuar. Sipas burimeve te policise, 46-vjecari ishte bere edhe here tjeter problematik pasi kishte keqtrajtuar ish-bashkeshorten edhe pas ndarjes se tyre. Keto perplasje kishin kaluar pa perfshirjen e drejteperdrejte te policise. Ne kerkim te pjeses se shtepise ai kishte kercenuar se fundi se do ta digjte. Diten e ngjarjes ish-gruaja e shqetesuar per kercenimet, kishte mbyllur deren e kishte shkuar tek fqinjet ndersa femijet nuk ishin. 46-vjecari ka shkelmuar deren e ka hyre brenda. Ne kete moment gruaja ishte duke u kthyer per te marre telefonin. Burri ne grindje e siper ka marre nje shishe vaji ne kuzhine dhe ka sperkatur shtepine. E tmerruar gruaja qe ishte ndaluar te dilte, madje ishte kercenuar me jeten nga ish-bashkeshorti, kishte therritur fqinjet. Keta te fundit kane lajmeruar policine, si edhe kane ndihmuar ne fikjen e zjarrit. Demet kane qene te konsiderueshme per familjen qe mbahej me pak te ardhura nga rroga e gruas dhe e djalit 17-vjecar i detyruar te punonte qysh ne adoleshence.

Karriqi couple was divorced 10 years ago. The wife worked as a cleaner, and the house that they had was an old object adopted as a living place. After the divorce the court decided that the house will remain property of the mother of 2 childrens. This decision was not well received from ex-husband, who at the same time was remarried. According to the police sources, for the 46-years old man, this was not the first he created such problems, after the divorce he had again abused with his ex-wife. In this clashes the police was not directly involved. Pretending to get a part of the house the man threatened that he will burned the house. Worried about what happened, the ex-wife closed the door and went to the neighbors, while the children were not at home. 46-year old man had broken the door and entered inside. I this moment the woman was returning to pick up the phone. When they were discussing he took a bottle of oil in the kitchen and sloppy the home. Not allouded to go outside, and even threatened with her life the woman terrified called the neighbors, they called the police and even helped in exinguishing the fire. The damage was considerable for the pour family which used to survive with woman's salary and 17-years old boy work, who was obliged to work when he was an adolescent.

Sipas burime te policise, per burrin 46-vjecar nuk ishte hera e pare qe krijonte te tilla probleme, pas divorcit ai abuzoj serish me ish gruan e tij. Ne kete perplasje nuk ishte e perfshir direkt policia. Burri pretendonte te merte nje pjese te shtepise dhe keshtu ai kercenoj se do ta digjte ate. e shqetesuar per cka po ndodhte, gruaja mbylli deren dhe shkoj te fqinjet, nderkohe femijet nuk ndodheshin ne shtepi. Burri 46-vjecar theu deren dhe hyri brenda. ne ato momente gruaja u rikthyer per te marre telefonin. Kur ata po diskutonin ai mori nje shishe me vaj ne guzhin dhe e hodhi neper shtepi. gruaja duke par qe nuk mund te dilte perjashta, madje mund te rrezikonte dhe jeten, therriti fqinjet, ata lajmeruan policet, si dhe ndihmeuan per te fikur zjarrin. Demet ishin goxha te medha duke pasur parasysh qe eshte nje familje e varfer e cila mbijeton me vetem rrogen e gruas dhe punen e djalit 17-vjecar, i cili ishte i detyruar te punonte qe kur ishte adoleshent.
