Please feel free to express your impressions, views and opinions based on what we have been discussing during class.
The Blog is open to all who wish to participate in a respectful exchange of thoughts, ideas, positions, proposals, and anything else that comes up as long as the subject is about Translation Studies.
Nevertheless, I must ask the authors to identify themselves at all times.
I hope you enjoy this education experience.

who is the best translation:word for word:or:thought for thought:?
in my opinion having best translation means to express the right meaning ,or the purpose of the author ,examples like a speech that contains idioms ,if we translate from English to Albanian it is not possible to translate word for word, because english expression are not the same ,or doesn't exist in the albanian language,so we should find a proper expression in albania to express the same meaning.another case is that of religious text ,in my opinion they must be translated word for word ,because are names or expressions that can not be changed.another case is that of science texts that have to be translated word by word ,because the people of this field can understand them. so the translation need the tow concepts above.brikelda nanaj
